Our warehouse currently serves primarily as our consignment intake and local pickup location while we prepare the new storefront. A limited selection of available inventory may also be on hand.

Good Gear Is Worth Repairing

We’re working with The Mendery Adventure Wear Repair to make outdoor gear repair easier to access through Next Gear. She plans to join us at upcoming intake events as her schedule allows to talk repairs and help evaluate damaged gear.

Have a torn jacket, damaged technical apparel, tent, pack, sleeping bag, cycling gear, or other outdoor equipment that still has life left in it? Bring it along and see what may be repairable.

Where are the upcoming intake events?

Our upcoming Fall & Winter Intake Days will be held at Fossil Cove on August 29 and September 12, 18, and 26 from 11 AM–6 PM. You can also stop by our Fayetteville warehouse Wednesday–Friday from 10 AM–3 PM.

What gear should I bring?

As we prepare for our October opening, we’re especially looking for fall and winter outdoor apparel, jackets, fleece, layers, hiking footwear, camping gear, packs, bikes, kids’ outdoor gear, and other quality outdoor equipment in good condition.

Do I need to submit my gear online first?

No. You can bring gear directly to an intake event and we’ll review it there. If you want to know whether something is a good fit before making the trip, you can create a consignor account and submit your items online for review first.

Do I need a consignor account?

Yes, accepted items will be connected to a consignor account so you can keep track of your gear and payouts. If you haven’t created one before arriving, we can help you get set up during intake.

Will you accept everything I bring?

Not necessarily. We review items based on condition, quality, seasonality, current demand, safety, and the inventory we already have. Bringing clean, functional gear that is ready for its next owner gives it the best chance of being accepted.

Can I bring a lot of gear?

Yes. If you have a larger collection, bulky equipment, or something you’re unsure about, submitting items online first or contacting us before the event can make the intake process easier.

Can I come even if I’m not consigning?

Absolutely. Stop by, meet us, learn more about Next Gear, check out our merchandise, and browse the small selection of outdoor gear we’ll have available at select events.

Can I bring damaged gear to an intake event?

Yes. The Mendery Adventure Wear Repair plans to join us at upcoming intake events as her schedule allows. Bring damaged outdoor gear and talk with her about what may be repairable.

Will Next Gear offer gear repair after the event?

Yes, that’s what we’re building toward. Next Gear and The Mendery are working on ways to make outdoor gear repair easier to access through the shop, with more details coming as the storefront gets closer to opening.
